I recently watched a Pakistani movie called Khuda Ke Liye (2007) (For God sake) This film is about the situation in which Pakistanis and Muslims are caught up since 9/11, and i liked it a lot..

"Waiting List"- a Cuban film. Superb.
"Evil"- a Swedish film.
"Fists in the Pocket"- Italian
"The Burmese Harp"- Japanese. One of the best films I've ever seen.
"Dreams of Dust"- a great film from an African country I never heard of before, Burkina Faso.
