I cant get it outta my head I'm dreamin about the freakin movie before i even see it. That only happened to me twice-- with "The Crow" and "Pirates of the Carribean Curse of the Black Pearl" |

It reminded me of a film/films i saw as a child...but when i try to think back i can't remember which ones (maybe its just the kind of film i'd like to have seen as a child).
That said its definitely not meant for children - the entire feel of the film is 'dark' and there are a few brutal scenes dotted throughout. Its well worth taking the time to watch and has 'a certain something' about it i can't quite place. |

You could imagine it as a mix of The Company of Wolves, Narnia and Harry Potter. But it certainly is intended for a mature audience for the 'real world part' of the movie is more cruel than the 'monster/fantasy part'. |

Not really 'Creepy' [cept for the one bit when the thingies chasing...] or 'Scary' it's not a horror movie really... more fantasy/civil warish.... |

if not, then it sounds like it could be OK for kids. |
